'27' was the second album by Ciro y los Persas, released two years after their successful debut. The title references the age of the great rock myths who died young (Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, among others), but also the idea of maturity and creative fullness. Recorded again between Del Cielito and El Pie, the album deepens the band's already consolidated sound, with songs ranging from the most direct rock to intimate ballads and experiments with world music.
