This album marked a radical change in the band's sound, incorporating elements of electronic music, samplers, and a very pronounced digital production. El Indio Solari immersed himself in the use of computers to compose, which generated an internal and external debate about the group's identity. It was recorded mostly in El Indio's personal studio, Luzbola, under almost total secrecy.
Songs like 'La pequeña novia del carioca' and 'Gualicho' show this new facet where rock coexists with programmed rhythms and synthetic textures. Skay Beilinson's guitar had to find its place in this new sonic ecosystem, achieving interventions that cut through the digital coldness with human warmth. The lyrics reflect a hyperconnected but fragmented world, on the verge of the collapse of the new millennium.
It was received with surprise by the more traditional followers, but over time it was valued as a brave step toward the future. It demonstrated that Los Redondos were not willing to repeat themselves and that their artistic curiosity remained intact after decades of success. It is the album that foreshadowed the end of the band and the beginning of the solo careers of its leaders.
