Fourth and final album by Sandro with Los de Fuego, released in 1966. The title "Alma y fuego" reflected the duality of his music: romantic ballads (soul) and energetic rock (fire). It included hits like "Alma y fuego" and "Te esperaré", which became classics of his early repertoire.
The production maintained the collaboration with Héctor Techeiro, but with a more polished sound and orchestral arrangements on some songs. Sandro showed notable vocal growth and a greater emotional connection with the lyrics. The album was recorded at CBS studios with the band.
