Don't Look Back is Al Green's sixteenth studio album, released in 1993 by MCA Records. The album continued the line of its predecessor, combining soul, R&B, and gospel, and was again produced by Green himself.
The album includes a notable collaboration with singer Lulu on the title track, a cover of the Sam Cooke classic. Although not a massive success, the album was well received by critics and showed Al Green in excellent vocal form.
Don't Look Back represents a transitional stage in Green's career, where he explored more contemporary sounds without abandoning his roots. The album did not produce major singles, but it is valued for its cohesion and the quality of the performances.
