The Bluegrass Album is Alan Jackson's sixteenth studio album, released on September 24, 2013. It was Jackson's first album entirely dedicated to bluegrass, a genre he had always admired but never explored on a full record.
The album was produced by Keith Stegall, Jackson's longtime collaborator, and featured renowned bluegrass session musicians such as banjoist Ron Block and fiddler Stuart Duncan. Jackson wrote or co-wrote most of the songs, including original tracks and covers of bluegrass classics.
