'From Left to Right' was recorded by Bill Evans in July 1969 in New York, produced by Helen Keane, and released by MGM Records in 1970. It is an unusual album in his discography because Evans plays both acoustic piano and Fender Rhodes electric piano.

The title refers to the arrangement of keyboards in the studio: the acoustic piano on the left and the electric on the right. Evans sought to explore timbral contrasts and modern textures, accompanied by a rhythm section including Eddie Gómez on bass and Marty Morell on drums.

The album received mixed reviews at the time, but over time it has been revalued as a bold experiment that anticipated the fusion of jazz with electronic elements, while maintaining Evans' characteristic melodic sensitivity.
