Further Conversations with Myself is Bill Evans' second album using overdubbing to play with himself on multiple pianos. It was recorded in August 1967 at Capitol Studios in New York.
The album continues the exploration begun in Conversations with Myself, but with a freer and more experimental approach. Evans plays three separate piano tracks, creating complex and harmonically dense musical dialogues.
The record was produced by Helen Keane, who was Evans' manager and producer for many years. Although it did not achieve the commercial success of his trio works, it is considered an innovative piece in the pianist's catalog.
