Amigos is the seventh studio album by the band Santana, released in March 1976. The title means 'friends' in Spanish, reflecting the collaborative spirit of the record. This album marked a return to a more accessible, rock-oriented sound after the jazz explorations of previous albums, and was a significant commercial success.

Recorded at CBS Studios in San Francisco, the album was produced by David Rubinson, known for his work with Herbie Hancock and The Pointer Sisters. The band's lineup was renewed, including vocalist Greg Walker and keyboardist Tom Coster, who brought a more funk and soul approach. The song 'Europa (Earth's Cry Heaven's Smile)' became an instrumental classic.

Amigos reached number 10 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum. It includes the hit single 'Let It Shine', and a cover of 'Dance Sister Dance (Baila Mi Hermana)' by Leon Chancler. The album is considered a turning point that revitalized Santana's commercial career in the second half of the 1970s.
