The album was recorded at The Automatt studios in San Francisco, California, produced by Carlos Santana and Keith Olsen. It features a blend of rock, jazz fusion, and Latin rhythms, highlighted by the hit 'Winning' (a cover of Russ Ballard) and 'American Gypsy'.
