Roadsinger is the first studio album by Cat Stevens (under his stage name Yusuf Islam) since 'An Other Cup' (2006), marking his return to popular music after decades of spiritual retreat. It was recorded in London and at Martin Terefe's studios in Kensal Green.
The album was produced by Yusuf himself along with Martin Terefe and Alun Davies, his longtime collaborator. It includes songs addressing themes of peace, spirituality, and personal reflection, with an acoustic folk sound reminiscent of his classic 1970s work.
Roadsinger received mixed reviews but was well received by his fans. It reached number 10 on the UK Albums Chart and number 41 on the US Billboard 200. The song 'Thinking 'Bout You' was released as the lead single.
