C'est Chic is the second studio album by the American band Chic, released in August 1978. It was produced by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards, who also wrote most of the songs. The album solidified the band's disco sound with sophisticated arrangements and danceable rhythms.

The album includes the hit singles 'Le Freak' and 'I Want Your Love', which became anthems of the disco era. 'Le Freak' reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold over seven million copies. The song originated from a night when Rodgers and Edwards were denied entry to Studio 54.

The album was a commercial and critical success, peaking at number four on the Billboard 200. It was certified platinum by the RIAA. Over time, 'C'est Chic' has been recognized as a masterpiece of the disco genre and a key influence on later funk and dance music.
