Two Great Guitars is a collaborative album between Chuck Berry and guitarist Bo Diddley, released in 1964 on Checker Records. The record blends Berrys rock and roll with Diddleys signature beat.
The album includes instrumental and vocal versions of well-known songs by both artists, such as Let It Rock and You Cant Judge a Book by the Cover. It was recorded during joint sessions at Chess Studios.
Although not one of Berrys biggest commercial successes, the album is cherished by fans as a unique meeting of two rock pioneers. The cover shows both guitarists in front of a wire fence.
