Slow Dancing with the Moon is Dolly Parton's thirtieth solo studio album, released on February 16, 1993, under Columbia Nashville. The album was produced by Steve Buckingham and marked a return to a more traditional country sound, after experimenting with pop in previous works.

The album includes notable collaborations, such as the song 'Romeo' with Mary Chapin Carpenter, Pam Tillis, Kathy Mattea, and Tanya Tucker, which became a minor hit on the country charts. It also features a cover of 'I Will Always Love You', a song originally by Parton that had been a major hit for Whitney Houston in 1992.

Although the album received positive reviews for its vocal quality and songwriting, it did not achieve the commercial success of her earlier works, peaking at number 45 on the Billboard 200 and number 12 on the Top Country Albums chart. However, it has been reappraised over time as one of her most cohesive works of the 1990s.
