Treasures is a covers album released by Dolly Parton in 1996, in which she performs classic songs by other artists, such as 'Peace Train' by Cat Stevens and 'The Grass Is Blue' (which later gave its name to her 1999 album).
The album was produced by Dolly Parton herself and released under the Rising Tide Records label, a subsidiary of Universal Music. It includes collaborations with Nashville session musicians.
Although not one of her biggest commercial successes, Treasures showcased Parton's versatility as a performer of various genres, from folk to country pop, and received mixed reviews.
