L.A. Is My Lady is the fifty-eighth and final studio album by Frank Sinatra, released in 1984 by Qwest Records. It was produced by Quincy Jones and recorded at Ocean Way and A&M Studios in Los Angeles, with arrangements by Quincy Jones, Jerry Hey, and others.
The album features collaborations with prominent musicians such as Lionel Hampton, George Benson, and Ray Charles, and presents a mix of jazz, pop, and soul. The title track, "L.A. Is My Lady", was composed by Quincy Jones and Alan Bergman, and the album also includes covers of "Teach Me Tonight" and "Mack the Knife".
Although it did not achieve the success of earlier works, peaking at number 58 on the Billboard 200 chart, it was significant as Sinatra's last studio album. It received mixed reviews, but is noted for Quincy Jones's modern production and Sinatra's energetic vocals at age 68.
