The album 'Swing Along with Me' was released in 1961 by Frank Sinatra under the Reprise Records label, marking his first studio album for this record company after leaving Capitol Records. The recording sessions took place at Reprise studios in Hollywood, California, between May and June 1961, with orchestral arrangements by Neal Hefti.

The original title was intended to be 'Swing Along with Me', but after release, Sinatra decided to rename it 'Sinatra Swings' for later editions, as he felt the original title was too similar to that of an album by his friend Bing Crosby. The album reached number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The album features a repertoire of swing and jazz songs, including standards such as 'I'm Beginning to See the Light' and 'I Can't Stop Loving You'. The original cover shows Sinatra wearing a top hat and cane, in a dynamic pose that reflects the joyful spirit of the album.
