'Swing Easy!' was recorded in April 1954 at Capitol Studios in Hollywood, just days after completing the sessions for 'Songs for Young Lovers'. Again produced by Voyle Gilmore, the album featured arrangements by Nelson Riddle and focused on a fast, upbeat swing repertoire, contrasting with the more romantic tone of its predecessor.
The album reached number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, matching the success of his first LP. It includes versions of standards like 'All of Me' and 'I Can't Believe That You're in Love with Me'. The cover showed Sinatra smiling with a wide-brimmed hat, reflecting the carefree spirit of the record.
This album was Sinatra's second for Capitol and helped establish his reputation as a swing performer. Although originally released as a 10-inch LP, it was later reissued in 12-inch format with additional tracks. 'Swing Easy!' is considered a perfect complement to 'Songs for Young Lovers'.
