Gloria Gaynor's Park Avenue Sound is the fifth studio album by Gloria Gaynor, released in 1978 by Polydor Records. It was produced by the successful duo Dino Fekaris and Freddie Perren, who also worked on Gaynor's previous album 'I've Got You' and are known for writing 'I Will Survive'.
The album represents a shift towards a more polished and orchestrated disco sound, with tracks like 'I Said Yes' and 'I'm a Woman'. Although it does not include 'I Will Survive' (which appeared on the following album, 'Love Tracks'), the record contains material reflecting Gaynor's artistic maturity during that period.
Despite the quality of the recordings, the album did not achieve major commercial impact and produced no high-charting singles. However, it is valued by collectors as a sample of late 1970s disco sound, with sophisticated arrangements and Gaynor's powerful voice.
