Bigger Than Both of Us is the third studio album by Hall & Oates, released in August 1976. It was their first for RCA Records after leaving Atlantic, and was produced by Christopher Bond, who also worked on later albums by the duo. Recording took place at The Hit Factory studios in New York City.
The album was a commercial success, peaking at number 13 on the Billboard 200 chart. It includes the single 'Rich Girl', which became the duo's first number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1977. Other singles were 'Back Together Again' and 'Crazy Eyes', though they did not achieve the same impact.
Bigger Than Both of Us solidified Hall & Oates' signature sound, blending pop, soul, and rock. It is considered a key album in their transition towards the massive success they would have in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
