The album features collaborations with several producers, including Mike Oldfield, Steve Lillywhite, and Chris Lord-Alge. Notable is the single 'So Close', which peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the cover of 'Don't Hold Back Your Love'.
Change of Season peaked at number 60 on the Billboard 200. Although it did not have the commercial impact of previous albums, 'So Close' became one of the duo's last major hits on the charts.
