Passionworks is Heart's seventh studio album, released in 1983. It marked a shift towards a more arena rock sound, produced by Keith Olsen.
The album included the single 'How Can I Refuse?', which peaked at number 44 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also featured guitarist Howard Leese and drummer Denny Carmassi.
Although it did not repeat the massive success of previous albums, Passionworks reached number 39 on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the RIAA in 1984.
