Coltrane Jazz is the fourth studio album by John Coltrane for Atlantic Records, released in 1961. It was recorded in several sessions between December 1959 and October 1960 at Atlantic Studios in New York. The album marks a transition in Coltrane's style, blending original compositions with standards, and shows his growing interest in harmonic and modal exploration.

The album features pianist McCoy Tyner, bassist Steve Davis, and drummer Elvin Jones, who would form part of Coltrane's classic quartet. The track "Village Blues" was recorded in the same session as "My Favorite Things" and reflects the influence of blues and modal music that would characterize his later work. The album reached number 12 on the Billboard jazz albums chart.

Coltrane Jazz is considered a bridge between the hard bop of his early work and the modal jazz he would fully develop in albums like "A Love Supreme". Critics have highlighted the group's cohesion and Coltrane's compositional maturity, although the album did not have the immediate impact of other releases of the time. In 2012, it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
