America: A 200-Year Salute in Story and Song is a concept album by Johnny Cash released in 1972 on Columbia Records. It was recorded between 1971 and 1972, and produced by Cash himself along with Larry Butler. The album celebrates the American Bicentennial by combining historical narrations with patriotic and traditional songs.

The album includes Cash's recitations of key events in American history, such as the Declaration of Independence and the Civil War, interspersed with musical tracks like 'The Battle of New Orleans' and 'The Star-Spangled Banner'. Cash was joined by his wife June Carter Cash and other family members on some tracks.

Although not one of Cash's most commercially successful albums, it was praised for its narrative ambition and educational approach. In 2003, Columbia reissued the album on CD with bonus tracks, maintaining its relevance as a historical musical document.
