Highwayman is the debut album by the country supergroup The Highwaymen, consisting of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson. It was released in May 1985 and produced by Chips Moman. The title track, 'Highwayman', written by Jimmy Webb, became a number-one hit on the Billboard country chart.

The album reached number 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and number 92 on the Billboard 200. It was certified platinum by the RIAA in 1986. The collaboration between these four giants of country music was a milestone, blending their unique styles into a joint project.

Recording took place at Moman's Recording Studio in Nashville, Tennessee. The album includes covers of songs by artists such as Bob Dylan and Guy Clark, as well as original compositions by the members themselves. The album's success led to a tour and a second album by the group in 1990.
