The FORCE (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy) is the fourteenth studio album by LL Cool J, released on September 6, 2024. It is his first album in eleven years, following 'Authentic' (2013). The album was produced entirely by Q-Tip, a founding member of A Tribe Called Quest.
The album debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200, with 34,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. It received critical acclaim for its cohesive production and LL Cool J's return to a rawer, sample-based sound reminiscent of hip-hop's golden age. The lead single 'Saturday Night Special' features Rick Ross and Fat Joe.
