Full Circle is Loretta Lynn's forty-third studio album, released on March 4, 2016. It was her first album of new material in twelve years, since 'Van Lear Rose' (2004). The album was produced by her son, John Carter Cash, and her daughter, Patsy Lynn Russell.
The album includes a mix of original songs written by Lynn and covers of country and folk classics, such as 'Whispering Sea' by Jimmy Martin and 'In the Pines' (traditional). It also features a duet with Willie Nelson on 'Lay Me Down', and a collaboration with Elvis Costello on 'Everything It Takes'.
Full Circle received positive reviews, with praise for Lynn's still-powerful voice and production that honors her legacy. It peaked at number 19 on the Billboard 200 and number 4 on the Top Country Albums chart. It was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Album.
