Rainbow is Neil Diamond's eighth studio album, released in November 1973 by MCA Records. It was produced by Tom Catalano, who collaborated with Diamond on several of his albums during that period.
The album includes the hit single 'The Last Thing on My Mind', which peaked at number 56 on the Billboard Hot 100. Other notable tracks are 'Be' and 'The Summer Wind'.
Although not one of Diamond's best-selling albums, Rainbow showcases his transition towards a more orchestral and mature sound, with arrangements by Lee Holdridge.
