'The Monsanto Years' is a concept album by Neil Young with his band Promise of the Real, released on June 29, 2015. The album openly criticizes the Monsanto corporation and its practices in genetically modified agriculture, as well as the power of large corporations in politics and the environment. It was recorded at Pono Studios in San Francisco and in a portable studio.

The album was accompanied by a promotional tour and a documentary of the same name directed by Bernard Shakey (Neil Young's pseudonym). The cover shows Young holding a protest sign, and the songs address issues such as pollution, pesticides, and corporate influence. Promise of the Real, led by Lukas Nelson (son of Willie Nelson), contributed a southern rock and folk sound.

The album received generally positive reviews for its direct political message, although some critics noted that the music was less innovative than the lyrics. It peaked at number 21 on the Billboard 200 chart. Young donated part of the proceeds to environmental organizations.
