Sound Museum: Three Women is a double album by American saxophonist and composer Ornette Coleman, released in 1996. It was recorded at Harmolodic Studios in New York, owned by Coleman himself.
The album features Coleman on alto and soprano saxophones, accompanied by bassist Charnett Moffett and drummer Denardo Coleman, Ornette's son. The trio format reflects Coleman's return to smaller ensembles after his orchestral experiments of the previous decade.
The title refers to three female figures depicted on the cover, and the music explores Coleman's harmolodic concept, where melody, harmony, and rhythm have equal importance. The album was well received by critics as a showcase of Coleman's creative maturity in the 1990s.
