Secret Story is a concept album by American guitarist Pat Metheny, released in 1992. It was recorded in various studios between 1991 and 1992, with Metheny as sole producer. The album features a 72-piece orchestra, orchestral arrangements by Jeremy Lubbock, and contributions from artists such as vocalist Naná Vasconcelos and bassist Charlie Haden.

The album explores themes of personal narrative and cinematic soundscapes, blending jazz, world music, and orchestral elements. Metheny used a variety of guitars, including his guitar synthesizer, to create unique textures. The track 'Tell Her You Saw Me' was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Composition in 1993.

Secret Story received positive reviews and reached number 1 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Albums chart. It is considered one of Metheny's most ambitious works, though some critics noted that its lush production overshadowed the intimacy of his compositions. The album was certified gold in the United States.
