Recorded at Orange Mountain Music studios in New York during 2023, the album shows Glass revisiting early works like Music in Twelve Parts and more recent compositions. Production was handled by Glass himself along with Don Christensen.
The release coincides with the 60th anniversary of Glass's career and offers an intimate perspective on his evolution as a composer and performer. It includes solo piano versions of works originally written for larger ensembles.
