Touch the Sky is the thirteenth studio album by Smokey Robinson, released in 1983 on the Tamla label, a subsidiary of Motown. The album marked a shift towards a more contemporary sound, with influences from funk and pop of the era.
The lead single, "Tell Me Tomorrow", reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, while "I've Made Love to You a Thousand Times" also achieved success on the R&B charts. The album was produced in collaboration with George Tobin and Mike Piccirillo.
Although it did not reach the same sales level as Robinson's earlier works, Touch the Sky received positive reviews for its polished production and the artist's distinctive voice. The album has not been officially reissued on CD to date.
