'Spring Is Here' was recorded in September 1981, though released in 1983. The album brings together Getz with pianist Lou Levy, bassist Monty Budwig, and drummer Victor Lewis.
The repertoire consists mainly of jazz standards and Broadway songs, such as the title piece by Rodgers and Hart. Production was handled by Stan Getz himself.
