Honky Tonk Angels is a collaborative album by Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton, and Loretta Lynn, released in 1993. The project was conceived by Parton, who wanted to bring the three country music legends together for a full album for the first time.
The album was produced by Steve Buckingham and recorded in Nashville. It includes covers of country classics as well as original songs written by the artists themselves. The lead single, 'Silver Threads and Golden Needles', achieved moderate success on the country charts.
Honky Tonk Angels received positive reviews and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Album by a Duo or Group. The album peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and number 42 on the Billboard 200.
