Money Talks is the fifteenth studio album by The Bar-Kays, released in 1990 on Mercury Records. It was recorded between 1989 and 1990, produced by the band and Larry Smith.
The album represented an attempt to revitalize the group's sound by incorporating elements of new jack swing and funk, but it did not achieve significant commercial impact, being one of the group's last releases under Mercury.
The single 'Money Talks' did not enter the Billboard charts, and the album went unnoticed at a time when R&B and hip-hop dominated musical trends. The band would disband shortly after.
