Released on August 6, 1996, 'She's the One' is the soundtrack to the film of the same name directed by Edward Burns. The album includes original songs by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, as well as studio versions of previously recorded tracks.
The album contains the singles 'Walls (Circus)' and 'Climb That Hill', both with music videos. The song 'Walls (Circus)' reached number 6 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
Although not a massive commercial success, the album peaked at number 15 on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the RIAA in 1997. It features collaborations with Lindsey Buckingham and Carl Wilson.
