Cloud 7 is the second studio album by Tony Bennett, released in 1955 by Columbia Records. It was recorded at Columbia's studios in New York City, with arrangements and musical direction by Chuck Wayne, a jazz guitarist who also played on the sessions.
The album is distinguished by its more jazz-oriented approach compared to his debut, featuring a small ensemble sound that includes musicians such as pianist Bernie Leighton and bassist Clyde Lombardi. It includes versions of standards like 'My Baby Just Cares for Me' and 'I'll Be Seeing You'.
Although it did not reach the charts, Cloud 7 is considered by critics as a transitional album that shows Bennett exploring a more relaxed style close to cool jazz. Its title refers to a state of happiness or daydreaming.
