Old Is New is the thirteenth studio album by Toto, released on June 15, 2018. The album compiles previously unreleased songs written throughout the band's career, some dating back to the 1980s and 1990s, re-recorded and produced for this release.
It was recorded at various studios in Los Angeles, including Steve Porcaro's personal studio. It featured founding members Steve Lukather, David Paich, and Steve Porcaro, along with drummer Shannon Forrest, who replaced Simon Phillips. Bassist Mike Porcaro, who died in 2015, appears posthumously on the track 'Spanish Sea'.
The album received generally positive reviews, highlighting the quality of the compositions and production. It reached number 55 on the UK Albums Chart and number 19 on the US Rock Albums chart. It was the band's last studio album before their indefinite hiatus announced in 2019.
