Flyin' Shoes is the sixth studio album by Townes Van Zandt, released in 1978. It was produced by Chips Moman, known for his work with artists such as Elvis Presley and Willie Nelson, and recorded in Nashville, Tennessee.
The album includes some of Van Zandt's most iconic songs, such as the title track 'Flyin' Shoes' and 'No Place to Fall'. Although it was not a massive commercial success, it is considered by many critics to be one of his most consistent and mature works.
